Feliks Šenk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filippo Bernardi's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Norbert Sešek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drejc Černe having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Jonas Papič managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Chelsea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Papič was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudio Vurkeljc to strike the kick off in the second half. Drejc Černe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Vurkeljc in the 56th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Filippo Bernardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Šenk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 62 minutes into the game, when Znadimir Rutar put in a rough tackle. 62 minutes into the game, one of Kočevje FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filippo Bernardi in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliks Šenk saved Kočevje FC from getting behind. The attack was good, but when Filippo Bernardi in the 78th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 83rd minute, Kvirin Zgonc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feliks Šenk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filippo Bernardi in the 86th minute of the match. Driton Esih charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Driton Esih the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes Kočevje FC got a freekick which was hit by Driton Esih. Rajmund Dobnikar's late challenge caught a FC Chelsea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rajmund Dobnikar helped the player get up and apologised. FC Chelsea's Lino Trobec was substituted for Jonas Papič. After 90 played minutes Kočevje FC got a freekick which was hit by Rajmund Dobnikar. Nedžad Peulić hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 96 played minutes FC Chelsea got a freekick which was hit by Lino Trobec. In the 99th minute, Filippo Bernardi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filippo Bernardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Feliks Šenk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
