A collision led to FC Chelsea getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Zladko Kekez hit a great ball. Drejc Černe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mavro Primar in the 9th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes FC Chelsea got a freekick which was hit by Zladko Kekez. After a defensive mix-up in FC Chelsea's zone, Lukasz Orling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Drejc Černe came out of the goal and Lukasz Orling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Slovenska Bistrica's Aldin Prelog suffered a concussion after 14 minutes and had to leave the field. In the 15th match minute, FC Chelsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Hudin to maneuver through the defense. In the 17thth minute of the game Mavro Primar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Chelsea's Drejc Černe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aita Zaplana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filippo Bernardi in the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Mavro Primar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aita Zaplana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filippo Bernardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denis Osetič kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Mavro Primar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Branivoj Kepic kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mavro Primar in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Drejc Černe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Denis Osetič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drejc Černe having to interfere. Drejc Černe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mavro Primar, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 44 minutes, Narayan Klemenčič mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Chelsea and the Slovenska Bistrica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Drejc Černe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mavro Primar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mavro Primar to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FC Chelsea's zone, Denis Osetič stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Drejc Černe came out of the goal and Denis Osetič tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Chelsea's goalkeeper Drejc Černe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Slovenska Bistrica's Aita Zaplana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo Bernardi in the 62nd minute of play. In the 69th minute, Filippo Bernardi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Chelsea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 73rd minute, Carter Moscatelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filippo Bernardi in the 75th minute of play forced Slovenska Bistrica's goalkeeper Aita Zaplana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Filippo Bernardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 minutes, Denis Osetič mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Slovenska Bistrica and the FC Chelsea players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Chelsea booed when Slovenska Bistrica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Osetič didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mavro Primar in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Drejc Černe saved FC Chelsea from getting behind. Denis Osetič got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Denis Osetič hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Slovenska Bistrica's goal looked a bit too open when Nedžad Peulić came free, but Aita Zaplana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Slovenska Bistrica's Milovan Šolman got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
