Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Brecht Tombeurs got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Å entjernej ND's Elio Jokić got a free kick in the 8th minute. Vasko Purgar hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Vasko Purgar's late challenge caught a Šempeter GF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vasko Purgar helped the player get up and apologised. Brecht Tombeurs struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Šempeter GF. Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brecht Tombeurs, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Šempeter GF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Chris Pikelj scored to the left of an out of position Almin Knific, making the score, 1-1. Alfons Harl charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfons Harl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute, Alfons Harl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elio Jokić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Almin Knific tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Arnel Stonič sped through Å entjernej ND's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnel Stonič in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek saved Å entjernej ND from getting behind. Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brecht Tombeurs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chris Pikelj to strike the kick off in the second half. Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brecht Tombeurs in the 55th minute of play. After 61 played minutes Šempeter GF got a freekick which was hit by Vasko Žagar. An unexpectedly hard shot by RadoÅ¡ TuÅ¡ar in the 65th minute of play forced Šempeter GF's goalkeeper Almin Knific to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RadoÅ¡ TuÅ¡ar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 68 minutes, RadoÅ¡ TuÅ¡ar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Å entjernej ND and the Šempeter GF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arnel Stonič who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Brecht Tombeurs received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek came out and tried to block the shot, but Brecht Tombeurs slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 72nd minute. Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brecht Tombeurs in the 76th minute of play. Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnel Stonič in the 78th minute of play. Brecht Tombeurs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Šempeter GF booed when Å entjernej ND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasko Purgar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Šempeter GF's Milovan Žak shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 89th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek but with some difficulty. Arnel Stonič who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Brecht Tombeurs had several of the Å entjernej ND's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 98 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the final whistle sounded Šempeter GF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Å entjernej ND.
