Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Devin Škrgić took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Pirates's Tino Verbec got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 5th play minutes Vinícius Paranaense shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Tjaš Ercegović and just under the crossbar into goal. FC Pirates's Tjaš Ercegović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinícius Paranaense in the 11th minute of play. Devin Škrgić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cveto Novinec having to interfere. Ožbalt Žabkar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 38 played minutes, FC Pirates's Ožbalt Žabkar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cveto Novinec came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Pirates reached it. Cveto Novinec didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 39th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. The supporters of FC Pirates booed when NK Koper was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthews Haskell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 minutes of play, NK Koper's Vinícius Paranaense made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tjaš Ercegović was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The audience was convinced that Devin Škrgić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cveto Novinec was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. The throw-in from Zeledon Jago in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Pirates's Valerij Lepej. When Devin Škrgić came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the FC Pirates fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Devin Škrgić couldn't finish the play. If Devin Škrgić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Devin Škrgić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Devin Škrgić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cveto Novinec having to interfere. 2-2 became the score in the 70th minute when Devin Škrgić elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC Pirates's Devin Škrgić got a free kick in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the game, Vinícius Paranaense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NK Koper's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Pirates the free kick. In the 76th minute, Vinícius Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cveto Novinec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Devin Škrgić went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Tjaš Ercegović was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Sergej Kovačič capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sergej Kovačič really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. After 85 minutes of play, NK Koper's Vinícius Paranaense made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tjaš Ercegović was left in no man's land by his defense there! Devin Škrgić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. NK Koper's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Pirates the free kick. After 96 played minutes NK Koper got a freekick which was hit by Sergej Kovačič. In the 97th minute, Devin Škrgić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chants of NK Koper echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as FC Pirates had held the ball for most of the match.
