Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) Slovenska Bistrica's Mavro Primar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Slovenska Bistrica booed when Šentjernej ND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Pikelj didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mavro Primar came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Slovenska Bistrica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mavro Primar couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Slovenska Bistrica's zone, Elio Jokić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aita Zaplana came out of the goal and Elio Jokić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Mavro Primar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slovenska Bistrica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mavro Primar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute Andrijan Greiser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mavro Serdinšek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldin Prelog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chris Pikelj's late challenge caught a Slovenska Bistrica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chris Pikelj helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Šentjernej ND getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Chris Pikelj hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldin Prelog got free with Mavro Serdinšek in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mavro Serdinšek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldin Prelog in the 37th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Slovenska Bistrica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasilije Hromec to maneuver through the defense. Aldin Prelog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mavro Serdinšek having to interfere. Aldin Prelog recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mavro Primar in the 45th minute of play forced Šentjernej ND's goalkeeper Mavro Serdinšek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Šentjernej ND defense, Mateusz Damaski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mavro Serdinšek. The Šentjernej ND fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mavro Serdinšek should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chris Pikelj made a kick off. In the 69th match minute, Slovenska Bistrica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Osetič to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Slovenska Bistrica's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Pikelj came free, but Aita Zaplana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mavro Primar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vasilije Hromec blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek having to make a save. Vasilije Hromec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mavro Primar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek having to interfere. Andrijan Greiser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Osetič couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, Mavro Primar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mavro SerdinÅ¡ek. Å entjernej ND's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mavro Primar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.
