After 3 minutes of play, Joga Bonito's Mihajlo Gomboc made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernes Suljkanović was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernes Suljkanović came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Joga Bonito's Mihajlo Gomboc. But to his dismay, Mihajlo Gomboc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 10th minute Zvezdan Drobnjaković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernes Suljkanović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Baldomir Mandelc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernes Suljkanović. Cerkno MNK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baldomir Mandelc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 18th minute of the match Mario Dular sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernes Suljkanović skillfully saved the ball. In the 21st minute, Joga Bonito's Baldomir Mandelc ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernes Suljkanović. Ernes Suljkanović yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Ernes Suljkanović made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baldomir Mandelc in the 24th minute. Jano Paurič hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Cerkno MNK's Ernes Suljkanović proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Cerkno MNK from getting a goal against them. Ernes Suljkanović was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mihajlo Gomboc showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 39 minute of play. Đuro Kaloper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zvonimir Kelenc, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Mihajlo Gomboc scored 6-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernes Suljkanović, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Mihajlo Gomboc made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Mihajlo Gomboc notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Cerkno MNK's Ernes Suljkanović. Ernes Suljkanović was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 58th minute, Argio Mrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute Zvezdan Drobnjaković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernes Suljkanović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Albin Stanišič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernes Suljkanović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomir Mandelc in the 71st minute of the match. Samo Bavdek's late challenge caught a Joga Bonito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samo Bavdek helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes Cerkno MNK got a freekick which was hit by Samo Bavdek. With an all-out effort, Cerkno MNK's Đuro Kaloper threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Albin Stanišič, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 76th minute, Mihajlo Gomboc left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joga Bonito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Ernes Suljkanović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomir Mandelc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernes Suljkanović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zvezdan Drobnjaković in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Argio Mrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Mihajlo Gomboc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernes Suljkanović. Cerkno MNK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mihajlo Gomboc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Joga Bonito fully deserved thier win.
