Omer Avsenik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Zorko Andrić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Simon Mohorčič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zorko Andrić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tihomir Gornik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the game, Miodrag Kureš cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Zorko Andrić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ecij Mihalek, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 22 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Stanko Žak was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ilmin Čelan hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Zorko Andrić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Mohorčič in the 26th minute of the match. Rado Gruntar came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Stanko Žak could save by the left post. Rado Gruntar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Stanko Žak made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ecij Mihalek in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stanko Žak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Tihomir Gornik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zorko Andrić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tihomir Gornik's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute Ecij Mihalek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanko Žak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Rado Gruntar took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Stanko Žak to make any attempt to save it. 47 minutes into the game, Ecij Mihalek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stanko Žak. Ecij Mihalek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ecij Mihalek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stanko Žak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ecij Mihalek in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, NK Kočevje's Rado Gruntar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stanko Žak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the game's 61st minute sveti vrh's Tihomir Gornik took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Zorko Andrić and thus the score was 3-2. 64 minutes into the game, Tihomir Gornik recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zorko Andrić. Tihomir Gornik showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Tihomir Gornik managed to get in a good position for a shot. sveti vrh's supporters rose to their feet, but Tihomir Gornik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zorko Andrić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rado Gruntar scored 4-3 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stanko Žak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stanko Žak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ecij Mihalek, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Stanko Žak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Čedomir Birk in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute Rado Gruntar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanko Žak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zorko Andrić came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by sveti vrh's Omer Avsenik. But to his dismay, Omer Avsenik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. Zorko Andrić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miodrag Kureš, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When NK Kočevje's Rado Gruntar in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye sveti vrh's goalie prevented a goal. Stanko Žak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rado Gruntar in the 98th minute of play.
