Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) Samel Petek started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Milorad Lampič made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stevan Metzkar in the 3rd minute of play. Trebnje NK's Ricardinho Matorin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Trebnje NK from getting a goal against them. Alberto Šimnovec came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ricardinho Matorin could save by the left post. Stevan Metzkar's late challenge caught a Kungota FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stevan Metzkar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Trebnje NK getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Stevan Metzkar hit a great ball. Milorad Lampič took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aziz Švegl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Milorad Lampič came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Trebnje NK's Stevan Metzkar. But to his dismay, Stevan Metzkar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 16th match minute, Kungota FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theo Porčić to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Samel Petek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardinho Matorin was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Alberto Šimnovec capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alberto Šimnovec really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Ricardinho Matorin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Šimnovec in the 26th minute. Blagoje Popivoda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Milorad Lampič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blagoje Popivoda took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Milorad Lampič. Milorad Lampič dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 41 minutes into the match, Stevan Metzkar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Milorad Lampič. Kungota FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stevan Metzkar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Ricardinho Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samel Petek in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The supporters of Trebnje NK booed when Kungota FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo Porčić didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes in the game, Blagoje Popivoda fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Milorad Lampič having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Trebnje NK's goal looked a bit too open when Samel Petek came free, but Ricardinho Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alberto Šimnovec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milorad Lampič made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blagoje Popivoda in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Stevan Metzkar made a precise shot to the right of Milorad Lampič. Kungota FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. 79 minutes into the match, Stevan Metzkar notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of Kungota FC's Milorad Lampič. Milorad Lampič was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Aziz Švegl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milorad Lampič made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stevan Metzkar in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Aziz Švegl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Milorad Lampič was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. In the 88th minute, Stevan Metzkar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rdth minute of the game Stevan Metzkar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kungota FC's Milorad Lampič was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Kungota FC's Samel Petek got a free kick in the 94th minute. Emin Križan hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Maksimiljan Pavalec struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Milorad Lampič didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trebnje NK.
