Spectators: 8524 (Terracing: 6300, Seating: 2124, VIP seats: 100) Lev Župec made the kick off and thus started the match. After 4 minutes of play, Lašče ND's Ordančo Nerer made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardinho Matorin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ricardinho Matorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Šeherzad Plesničar, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Slavček Bršek kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Ricardinho Matorin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lev Župec went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Ricardinho Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Šeherzad Plesničar in the 22nd minute of play. Lev Župec took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardinho Matorin. Ricardinho Matorin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After a rather tough play, Trebnje NK's Željko Urek got a free kick in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lašče ND's zone, Aziz Švegl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darej Černič came out of the goal and Aziz Švegl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saša Ajdič during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lašče ND booed when Trebnje NK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saša Ajdič didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Trebnje NK's goal looked a bit too open when Boško Vukićević came free, but Ricardinho Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Lev Župec left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lašče ND fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Stevan Metzkar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Darej Černič skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 48 played minutes Stevan Metzkar rounded Lašče ND's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-5. The Trebnje NK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lašče ND were winning 1-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stevan Metzkar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 66 played minutes Lašče ND got a freekick which was hit by Boško Vukićević. Stevan Metzkar scored 3-5 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Darej Černič, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Stevan Metzkar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trebnje NK's supporters rose to their feet, but Stevan Metzkar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darej Černič breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saša Ajdič struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Darej Černič didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trebnje NK. Darej Černič came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Trebnje NK's Aziz Švegl. But to his dismay, Aziz Švegl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-5. After recieving a nice pass, Lašče ND's Predrag Koler tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Lev Župec in the 85th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Ricardinho Matorin kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 4-6 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Lašče ND's Boško Vukićević got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Saša Ajdič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94thth minute of the game Stevan Metzkar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lašče ND's Darej Černič was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chants of Lašče ND echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Trebnje NK had held the ball for most of the match.
