Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Naim Stanišič in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Darej Černič prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brendon Čepar in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Darej Černič saved Lašče ND from getting behind. Brendon Čepar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darej Černič came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Bayer Leverkusen's Naim Stanišič. But to his dismay, Naim Stanišič quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Naim Stanišič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darej Černič having to interfere. When Lašče ND's Lev Župec in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bayer Leverkusen's goalie prevented a goal. In the 20thth minute of the game Rašid Uršič who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lašče ND's Darej Černič was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lašče ND's zone, Naim Stanišič stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darej Černič came out of the goal and Naim Stanišič tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Naim Stanišič struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Darej Černič didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bayer Leverkusen. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boško Vukićević got free with Sreta Gorše in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Darej Černič took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naim Stanišič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bayer Leverkusen's Naim Stanišič got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rašid Uršič in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Darej Černič saved Lašče ND from getting behind. Darej Černič showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorjan Budal, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 36 played minutes Bayer Leverkusen got a freekick which was hit by Rašid Uršič. With a little luck, Bayer Leverkusen's Sreta Gorše got control of the ball when Boško Vukićević tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute Naim Stanišič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darej Černič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Naim Stanišič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Lev Župec made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Bayer Leverkusen's Lazar Topolovec sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Darej Černič narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 55th match minute, Lašče ND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ordančo Nerer to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 61 minutes, Dorjan Budal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bayer Leverkusen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dorjan Budal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Naim Stanišič could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Darej Černič made a huge save. A collision led to Bayer Leverkusen getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Zoran Levstek hit a great ball. After 67 minutes, Boško Vukićević made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Bayer Leverkusen's Sreta Gorše tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sreta Gorše came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Lašče ND's Šeherzad Plesničar. But to his dismay, Šeherzad Plesničar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Naim Stanišič took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Darej Černič. Darej Černič dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. When Rašid Uršič came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Bayer Leverkusen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rašid Uršič couldn't finish the play. Lazar Topolovec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brendon Čepar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Darej Černič when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sreta Gorše showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lev Župec, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 86 minutes, Lazar Topolovec made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Lašče ND's Darej Černič tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Dorjan Budal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Naim Stanišič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Lašče ND fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bayer Leverkusen were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
