George Sončar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Darej Burnić. NK Dinamo Zagreb's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Joži Pavalec kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Vilim Lamovšek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Vilim Lamovšek made the kick off in the second half. Bernard Kolman was a little too slow when Vilim Lamovšek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vilim Lamovšek got free with Bernard Kolman in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of NK Dinamo Zagreb booed when Ribnica na Pohorju was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salih Drakul didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vilim Lamovšek let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 63rd minute shot 0-4 at rihgt post. NK Dinamo Zagreb's Darej Burnić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almir Franko in the 70th minute of play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Almir Franko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NK Dinamo Zagreb's Darej Burnić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Darej Burnić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Franko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daš Povirk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Kolman having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Vilim Lamovšek could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Bernard Kolman however easily saved by the left post. 90 minutes in the game, Emir Bizilj fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bernard Kolman having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ribnica na Pohorju defense, Vilim Lamovšek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernard Kolman. The Ribnica na Pohorju fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernard Kolman should have stopped the shot. The Ribnica na Pohorju fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. NK Dinamo Zagreb were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
