Spectators: 8525 (Terracing: 6300, Seating: 2125, VIP seats: 100) Hodoš's Will Gates started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dimitris Papadopulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blagoje Popivoda in the 7th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Blagoje Popivoda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitris Papadopulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Džan Verdev in the 19th minute of play forced Trebnje NK's goalkeeper Ricardinho Matorin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trebnje NK's Ricardinho Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Džan Verdev in the 22nd minute of play. Blagoje Popivoda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dimitris Papadopulos came out and tried to block the shot, but Blagoje Popivoda slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the game, Stevan Metzkar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Dimitris Papadopulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Trebnje NK's Ricardinho Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Džan Verdev in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Trebnje NK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Saša Ajdič hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Trebnje NK's goal looked a bit too open when Will Gates came free, but Ricardinho Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hodoš's Aleksander Kutnjak got a free kick in the 36th minute. Stevan Metzkar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Papadopulos having to interfere. Stevan Metzkar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hodoš's Dimitris Papadopulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blagoje Popivoda in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Hodoš was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anto Dežman to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stevan Metzkar made a kick off. Džan Verdev took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardinho Matorin. Ricardinho Matorin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Ricardinho Matorin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Beškovnik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimitris Papadopulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stevan Metzkar in the 63rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Stevan Metzkar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimitris Papadopulos was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Dimitris Papadopulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saša Ajdič, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After 68 played minutes Hodoš got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Kutnjak. After 69 played minutes Hodoš got a freekick which was hit by Džan Verdev. Dimitris Papadopulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stevan Metzkar in the 71st minute of the match. Ricardinho Matorin made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Džan Verdev sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Blagoje Popivoda during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Hodoš's zone, Stevan Metzkar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitris Papadopulos came out of the goal and Stevan Metzkar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Trebnje NK's Ricardinho Matorin got control of the ball when Džan Verdev tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hodoš's zone, Matej Štrumbelj stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitris Papadopulos came out of the goal and Matej Štrumbelj tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Džan Verdev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stevan Metzkar took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dimitris Papadopulos. Dimitris Papadopulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Trebnje NK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Hodoš for a fine match.
