Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ecij Mihalek made a kick off. Rado Gruntar took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Darej Burnić. Darej Burnić dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Aljaž Končan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Zorko Andrić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zorko Andrić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NK Dinamo Zagreb. Darej Burnić was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dean Jaklin. In the 94th minute Ecij Mihalek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darej Burnić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Although NK Dinamo Zagreb had been in control for most of the match, NK Kočevje still came away with the win.
