Salih Drakul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darej Černič having to interfere. A collision led to Lašče ND getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Lev Župec hit a great ball. In the 25th minute Zdravko Buh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darej Černič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ribnica na Pohorju's Bernard Kolman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Ribnica na Pohorju from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lev Župec in the 31st minute of play forced Ribnica na Pohorju's goalkeeper Bernard Kolman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lev Župec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Lašče ND's Lev Župec got a free kick in the 45th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lev Župec was the one to do the kick off. When Salih Drakul came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Ribnica na Pohorju fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salih Drakul couldn't finish the play. Bernard Kolman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lev Župec's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lev Župec in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernard Kolman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Lašče ND's Boško Vukićević in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ribnica na Pohorju's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Lašče ND's Dimitrije Lah got a free kick in the 68th minute. Bernard Kolman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lev Župec went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Almir Franko took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Darej Černič. Darej Černič dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Zdravko Buh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darej Černič having to interfere. With a left leg Bernard Kolman saved Ribnica na Pohorju from getting behind. 86 minutes into the game, one of Ribnica na Pohorju:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Lašče ND. Predrag Koler stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bernard Kolman. 2-1. When Zdravko Buh came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Ribnica na Pohorju fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zdravko Buh couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Lašče ND's Dimitrije Lah got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 96th of the match, Zdravko Buh tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Darej Černič got in the way and made a wonderful save. Lašče ND were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ribnica na Pohorju for a fine match.
