The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, NK Dinamo Zagreb's Daš Povirk got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Lučano Kamenšek hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the match Dimitrije Lah sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Darej Burnić skillfully saved the ball. In the 21st minute, Ordančo Nerer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Vilim Lamovšek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Darej Černič was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 25th minute, Lašče ND's Lev Župec ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Darej Burnić. Darej Burnić yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Darej Burnić showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. NK Dinamo Zagreb's Darej Burnić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lev Župec in the 32nd minute of play. Boško Vukićević could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Darej Burnić made a huge save. Boško Vukićević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darej Burnić having to interfere. NK Dinamo Zagreb's Darej Burnić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lev Župec in the 44th minute of play. NK Dinamo Zagreb's Darej Burnić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save NK Dinamo Zagreb from getting a goal against them.

The wind increased when Lev Župec made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Lašče ND's goalkeeper Darej Černič had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vilim Lamovšek. Maximilian Ramšak hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. 99 minutes into the match, Lašče ND's Predrag Koler broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
