Spectators: 9225 (Terracing: 6920, Seating: 2122, VIP seats: 183) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lev Župec started the match with the kick off. Darej Černič made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdo Platiše in the 3rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Lašče ND defense, Medin Makuc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Darej Černič. The Lašče ND fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Darej Černič should have stopped the shot. Drago Malivojević charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Drago Malivojević the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Lašče ND got a freekick which was hit by Drago Malivojević. Medin Makuc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lašče ND's zone, Ferdo Platiše stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darej Černič came out of the goal and Ferdo Platiše tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. NK Kranj's Rios Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lev Župec in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, NK Kranj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Medin Makuc to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Ferdo Platiše made a precise shot to the right of Darej Černič. Lašče ND's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When Medin Makuc fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NK Kranj's protests and gave Medin Makuc a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Medin Makuc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdo Platiše's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Darej Černič read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Lev Župec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rios Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdo Platiše fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darej Černič having to interfere. Rios Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lev Župec, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Ferdo Platiše recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Darej Černič. Ferdo Platiše showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Valon Šumej kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferdo Platiše stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferdo Platiše in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Darej Černič prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 55th match minute, NK Kranj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gordan Jordan to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of NK Kranj booed when Lašče ND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Šeherzad Plesničar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Lašče ND's Šeherzad Plesničar got a free kick in the 64th minute. NK Kranj's Neven Jambrošić was substituted for Božidar Jodanović. Lašče ND's Darej Černič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Živko Indihar in the 78th minute of play. NK Kranj's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Lev Župec scored to the left of an out of position Rios Salgado, making the score, 5-1. Darej Černič came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by NK Kranj's Medin Makuc. But to his dismay, Medin Makuc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Dragoljub Kopše sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute of the match, Boško Vukićević got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rios Salgado was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Ordančo Nerer took a quick shot and it went in 6-2 without a chance for Rios Salgado to make any attempt to save it. NK Kranj walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
