Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agnaldo Ramalho in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julian Chrzan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julian Chrzan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agnaldo Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Klemen Mikuž dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Julian Chrzan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernes Flakus in the 21st minute of play. Klemen Mikuž showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siniša Debevec, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute Zija Pleteršek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Chrzan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 minutes of play, Milky Way's Zija Pleteršek made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julian Chrzan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Milky Way:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Barcelona:s goal. Tim Schottler shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernes Flakus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ludvik Anclin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zladko Terdič could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Julian Chrzan made a huge save. 55 minutes into the game, Zladko Terdič cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Julian Chrzan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Barcelona's Julian Chrzan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save FC Barcelona from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute of the match Milky Way got a corner. FC Barcelona's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zladko Terdič got free with Julian Chrzan in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julian Chrzan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Alben Ržen notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of FC Barcelona's Julian Chrzan. Julian Chrzan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Milky Way defense, Milovan Božnik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Klemen Mikuž. The Milky Way fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Klemen Mikuž should have stopped the shot. After having played for 94 minutes, Ernes Flakus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Milky Way's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernes Flakus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 96 played minutes Jožko Špehar rounded FC Barcelona's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-7. When the final whistle sounded Milky Way left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Barcelona.
