Säve's Christian Sundberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Paulino Mergildo put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Christian Sundberg. 28 minutes into the match, Jörn FF's Paulino Mergildo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Sundberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 74 played minutes Jörn FF got a freekick which was hit by Ted Kuse. In the 81st minute, Nicklas Ivarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Sundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Tharfelt in the 84th minute of play. After 85 minutes, Simon Wästerberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. In the 94th minute Otto Termander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Sundberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tom Liljeström fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Säve's protests and gave Tom Liljeström a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes Säve got a freekick which was hit by Tom Liljeström. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Jörn FF fully deserved thier win.
