Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Bror Kolberg in the 4th minute of play forced Grundsund's goalkeeper Sven-Erik Björkqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grundsund's Sven-Erik Björkqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bror Kolberg in the 6th minute of play. Sven-Erik Björkqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Charlos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Erik Björkqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Hammarbäck in the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Valbo's Waldemar Charlos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Erik Björkqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Alvin Möllgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grundsund's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valbo the free kick. The audience was convinced that Waldemar Charlos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Erik Björkqvist was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 19th minute, one of Grundsund:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Grundsund. In the 26th minute, Grundsund's Göran Wallin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Patric Kullander. Patric Kullander yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. When Kenneth Beverley came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Valbo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenneth Beverley couldn't finish the play. Sven-Erik Björkqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenneth Beverley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patric Kullander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olov Siggesson in the 41st minute. Valbo's Patric Kullander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Valbo from getting a goal against them. Olov Siggesson took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patric Kullander. Patric Kullander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Waldemar Charlos made the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the game, Valbo's Bror Kolberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Erik Björkqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Sven-Erik Björkqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldemar Charlos in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Valbo's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Wallin came free, but Patric Kullander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patric Kullander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Wallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. A collision led to Valbo getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Olov Myhr hit a great ball. Valbo's Patric Kullander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Siggesson in the 74th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 77 minutes into the game, when Lars Bergvall put in a rough tackle. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Valbo! In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Grundsund. Agne Skark stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Patric Kullander. 3-2. Olov Siggesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olov Siggesson in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patric Kullander saved Valbo from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 97 minutes, Sven-Erik Björkqvist successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kenneth Beverley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
