A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Hjältevad getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Helge Skark hit a great ball. Hjältevad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sundsvall FF the free kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and August Vennersten made a kick off. Henry Ekman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hjältevad. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agne Johansson got free with Magnus Bäck in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, Karl-Ove Alströmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
