The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Christer Gummeson lost his temper 7 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Fellingsbro booed when Ulrika BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Erik Stenman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eddie Finnman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Örtendahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eddie Finnman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jörn Kilstedt charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jörn Kilstedt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eddie Finnman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dan Henriksson went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 56th minute Sören Bergsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Finnman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Fellingsbro's goalkeeper Eddie Finnman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Erik Mossberg.
