Tor Pihlwall started the match with the kick off. Beda Venerabilia's Alexander Skräddare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristoforo Bravo in the 6th minute of play. Alexander Jönsson struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Alexander Skräddare didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester City. In the 18thth minute of the game Alexander Jönsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beda Venerabilia's Alexander Skräddare was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roger Hedin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor Pihlwall in the 20th minute of play. Roger Hedin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tor Pihlwall in the 24th minute of the match. Alexander Skräddare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Jönsson in the 27th minute of play. Manchester City's Roger Hedin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor Pihlwall in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Cristoforo Bravo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alexander Skräddare was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd minute, Sebastian Lundström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexander Skräddare was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Alexander Skräddare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristoforo Bravo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexander Jönsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Beda Venerabilia's John Lilja got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Alexander Jönsson came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Manchester City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Jönsson couldn't finish the play. John Lilja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Lilja in the 65th minute of play forced Manchester City's goalkeeper Roger Hedin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beda Venerabilia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jörn Bergendahl in the 69th minute. Vidar Lindman thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Roger Hedin, a very annoying self made goal in the 70th minute which led to 1-2. After 74 played minutes Beda Venerabilia got a freekick which was hit by Olov Viberg. Alexander Skräddare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Jönsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After some careless play in the Beda Venerabilia defense, Alexander Jönsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexander Skräddare. The Beda Venerabilia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexander Skräddare should have stopped the shot. After 82 minutes, Vidar Lindman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester City and the Beda Venerabilia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute, Mats Östman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristoforo Bravo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Alexander Skräddare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Jönsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexander Skräddare having to make a save. Manchester City played a much better game than Beda Venerabilia and deserved their victory. The Beda Venerabilia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
