The supporters of Sköllersta booed when Sjösjuka FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Erik Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 minutes, Frank Ekenberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sköllersta and the Sjösjuka FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Bror Löfdahl came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Sjösjuka FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bror Löfdahl couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Alf Hägg took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Ted Hagström to make any attempt to save it. Edvard Gustavsson struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Roy Sjö didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sköllersta. 34 minutes into the match, Sköllersta's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Hägg came free, but Ted Hagström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Alf Hägg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sjösjuka FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Alf Hägg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ted Hagström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Despite this Ted Hagström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Sköllersta getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Börge Bohlin hit a great ball. Ted Hagström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Löfdahl in the 65th minute of play. The Sjösjuka FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 80th minute of the game Claes Odeen made a throw-in which Alf Hägg played forward. Bror Löfdahl hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. When George Larsson came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Sjösjuka FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Larsson couldn't finish the play. Ted Hagström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bror Löfdahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bror Löfdahl in the 91st minute of play forced Sköllersta's goalkeeper Ted Hagström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alf Hägg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Hagström having to interfere. Bror Löfdahl took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ted Hagström. Ted Hagström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Sjösjuka FK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
