After 9 played minutes Brösarp got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Göransson. In the 11th minute Sven-Ove Winström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Myhr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oskarström IK's Ove Jakobsson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fabian Göransson, made in the 21st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Brösarp's zone, Sven-Ove Winström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folke Myhr came out of the goal and Sven-Ove Winström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henning Pålsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Aronsson in the 26th minute of play. Folke Myhr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Winström, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Ove Winström got free with Folke Myhr in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 34 minutes, Eddie Öberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oskarström IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eddie Öberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eddie Öberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eddie Öberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Folke Myhr having to make a save. Folke Myhr stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Ove Winström's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Folke Myhr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Ove Winström in the 40th minute of play. Ove Jakobsson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Oskarström IK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Ove Winström in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Folke Myhr saved Brösarp from getting behind. Eddie Öberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Folke Myhr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Folke Myhr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oskarström IK. Michel Bergstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Myhr having to interfere.
