Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bror Engman took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Westerberg in the 3rd minute of play forced Säter IK's goalkeeper Christoffer Odman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Westerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christoffer Odman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Sandberg in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Säter IK defense, Mathias Sandberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christoffer Odman. The Säter IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christoffer Odman should have stopped the shot. Bengt-Arne Torstensson struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Christoffer Odman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Phantoms. The supporters of Säter IK booed when Phantoms was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Åke Fastesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Per-Åke Fastesson came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Phantoms fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Åke Fastesson couldn't finish the play. Alex Carlsson struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Christoffer Odman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Phantoms. Phantoms's Bengt-Arne Torstensson got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alex Carlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Säter IK getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Börje Klack hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Mathias Sandberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Christoffer Odman, passed just outside the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Daniel Westerberg made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Säter IK's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Westerberg came free, but Christoffer Odman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lars Springfält had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars Springfält scored 3-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christoffer Odman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bengt-Arne Torstensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Christoffer Odman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Daniel Westerberg made a precise shot to the right of Christoffer Odman. Säter IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Lennart Botvidsson's late challenge caught a Phantoms's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lennart Botvidsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th match minute, Säter IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennart Botvidsson to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Phantoms's Daniel Westerberg fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Daniel Westerberg took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christoffer Odman. Christoffer Odman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Christoffer Odman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Westerberg's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Phantoms's Per-Åke Fastesson got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Alex Carlsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Westerberg in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christoffer Odman saved Säter IK from getting behind. Phantoms's Mathias Sandberg got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Phantoms walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
