Spectators: 7295 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 130) Dunderklumpens FF's Lars Salkvist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sköndals IK's Dick Paulin got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Håkan Esbjörnsson during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 9 minutes into the match, Dunderklumpens FF's goalkeeper Ted Fernström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dick Paulin. After a defensive mix-up in Dunderklumpens FF's zone, Richard Hydén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ted Fernström came out of the goal and Richard Hydén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lars Salkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Håkan Esbjörnsson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 22 minutes had been played. In the 23rd match minute, Sköndals IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkan Esbjörnsson to maneuver through the defense. Dunderklumpens FF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Serban Berbec scored to the left of an out of position Ted Fernström, making the score, 2-0. In the 28th minute, Sköndals IK's Arne Julin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Ted Fernström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dick Paulin in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serban Berbec got free with Ted Fernström in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Petter Bergström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Forss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Sköndals IK's Ted Fernström threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arne Julin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ted Fernström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serban Berbec in the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Arne Julin made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Kenneth Alebäck could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Petter Bergström however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Dunderklumpens FF getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Brian Forss hit a great ball. Dunderklumpens FF made a substitution. Boris Wahlnäs replaced Robustiano Ortle. After 59 played minutes Dunderklumpens FF got a freekick which was hit by Brian Forss. Serban Berbec took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ted Fernström. Ted Fernström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Serban Berbec struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Ted Fernström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sköndals IK. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Salkvist got free with Petter Bergström in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arne Julin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Dunderklumpens FF's goal looked a bit too open when Serban Berbec came free, but Ted Fernström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Boris Wahlnäs made a precise shot to the right of Petter Bergström. Sköndals IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Sköndals IK's Petter Bergström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Sköndals IK from getting a goal against them. Dunderklumpens FF's Boris Wahlnäs got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serban Berbec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dunderklumpens FF's goalkeeper Ted Fernström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Serban Berbec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Richard Tolsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dunderklumpens FF's Alejandro Jerardo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sköndals IK. There was no doubt that Sköndals IK were the better team. Sköndals IK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
