When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esbjörn Linqvist made a kick off. Östen Walmarsson charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Östen Walmarsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ralf Samuelsson hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The supporters of Assyriska FF booed when Stavsjö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Hjälm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Assyriska FF were furious when Melker Tingberg was red carded, 79 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Assyriska FF's Melker Tingberg got a free kick in the 79th minute. Johannes Hjälm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 85 played minutes Assyriska FF got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Bock. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johannes Hjälm got free with Jörgen Tönnberg in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Assyriska FF's Jörgen Tönnberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Assyriska FF from getting a goal against them. Ekialde Minguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
