With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingvar Bock in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bo-Erik Abrahamsson saved Springfield FC from getting behind. A hard shot 24 in the game by Roland Thedin from a close distance when the talented Jörgen Tönnberg managed to make a qualified save. Assyriska FF's players were relieved. Ekialde Minguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Bo-Erik Abrahamsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bo-Erik Abrahamsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Bock in the 34th minute of the match. Patrick Pihlwall's late challenge caught a Springfield FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick Pihlwall helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes Assyriska FF got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Pihlwall. In the 40th minute, Springfield FC's Jörgen Bergström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jörgen Tönnberg. Jörgen Tönnberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ingvar Bock to make the kick off. Ingvar Bock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Bo-Erik Abrahamsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ingvar Bock's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bo-Erik Abrahamsson was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Springfield FC's Bo-Erik Abrahamsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ekialde Minguez in the 68th minute of play. Dag Westerstrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo-Erik Abrahamsson having to interfere. Ingvar Bock might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bo-Erik Abrahamsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingvar Bock ran back to his position shaking his head. Melker Tingberg kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Rickard Sandell hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Ekialde Minguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Bo-Erik Abrahamsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Springfield FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Assyriska FF to leave the ground with a draw.
