Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ian Glad started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Jonas Lundblad notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Marsta IK's Thor Pihl. Thor Pihl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonas Lundblad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ian Glad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Jonas Lundblad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Önnestad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ian Glad in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thor Pihl saved Marsta IK from getting behind. The supporters of Önnestad booed when Marsta IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Ersman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thor Pihl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Lundblad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas Lundblad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Thor Pihl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Álvaro Pinho got free with Kasper Skröder in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 34 minutes, Álvaro Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marsta IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Álvaro Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Álvaro Pinho came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Marsta IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Álvaro Pinho couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Lundblad in the 39th minute of play forced Marsta IK's goalkeeper Thor Pihl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thor Pihl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Lundblad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kasper Skröder made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Álvaro Pinho sent off a good shot on target. Oskar Sundberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Thor Pihl. Marsta IK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Marsta IK getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Felix Ersman hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Huang Shi Wen's late challenge caught a Önnestad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Huang Shi Wen helped the player get up and apologised. Ian Glad received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thor Pihl came out and tried to block the shot, but Ian Glad slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 56th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erik Ålberg during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Önnestad:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Marsta IK:s goal. 68 minutes into the game, Marsta IK's Álvaro Pinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kasper Skröder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. 71 minutes into the match, Marsta IK's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Glad came free, but Thor Pihl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marsta IK's Thor Pihl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Glad in the 72nd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Önnestad's Thor Pihl threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Algot Blomqvist, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thor Pihl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Lundblad in the 83rd minute. The audience was convinced that Álvaro Pinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kasper Skröder was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Huang Shi Wen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasper Skröder having to interfere. Thor Pihl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Glad, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Álvaro Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Kasper Skröder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Lundblad got free with Thor Pihl in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonas Lundblad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Lundblad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Thor Pihl made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Önnestad eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
