Sixten Gustafsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigvard Danielsson in the 6th minute of the match. Kaj Åkerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixten Gustafsson having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaj Åkerberg in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sixten Gustafsson saved Fjälkinge from getting behind. Folke Söderkvist stood somewhat misplaced when Sebastian Låsberg came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 12 minute. If Sebastian Låsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bosanski Brod FK's Folke Söderkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Lööf in the 19th minute of play. Sixten Gustafsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaj Åkerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. If Sigvard Danielsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Lööf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Folke Söderkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fjälkinge's Christian Lööf got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the game, Billy Nyström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fjälkinge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bosanski Brod FK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fjälkinge's Billy Nyström got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute of the match Gösta Lundblad sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sixten Gustafsson skillfully saved the ball. After 40 played minutes Bosanski Brod FK got a freekick which was hit by Per-Erik Forss. Sixten Gustafsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaj Åkerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 46 minutes, Peter Ahlrot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bosanski Brod FK and the Fjälkinge players grew even worse after the yellow card. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Sixten Gustafsson was a little too slow when Kaj Åkerberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 1-2. Bosanski Brod FK's Sigvard Danielsson got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valdemar Ekeroth hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. When Sebastian Låsberg came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Fjälkinge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Låsberg couldn't finish the play. When Bosanski Brod FK's Kaj Åkerberg in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fjälkinge's goalie prevented a goal. Åke Holmberg kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Christian Lööf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fjälkinge's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Lööf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folke Söderkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christian Lööf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
