Järna BF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Per-Åke Ahlén charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Per-Åke Ahlén the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Ulrik Petersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ortens Favoriter's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulrik Petersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jon Lindmark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benjamin Allbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jon Lindmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Ortens Favoriter's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Jönsson came free, but Jonas Wester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Ortens Favoriter's goalkeeper Jonas Wester had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Otto Jönsson. Otto Jönsson struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jonas Wester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Järna BF. If Ingmar Löv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ingmar Löv was the one to do the kick off. Ingmar Löv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jonas Wester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ulrik Petersson came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Ortens Favoriter fans jumped to their feet. Jon Lindmark acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 66th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Paul Johansson. After some careless play in the Järna BF defense, Benjamin Allbom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jon Lindmark. The Järna BF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jon Lindmark should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Järna BF's Måns Hedlund got a free kick in the 70th minute. Conny Löfkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Aleksander Asserlind kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Jonas Wester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingmar Löv in the 79th minute of play. Jon Lindmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrik Petersson in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd match minute, Järna BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torgny Karlsson to maneuver through the defense. Ulrik Petersson kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Torgny Karlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Wester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 98th minute of the match Järna BF got a corner. Ortens Favoriter's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vilhelm Björk ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vilhelm Björk made a great header on Järna BF's corner, it was just that Ortens Favoriter's Jonas Wester managed to reach the ball for a save. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Järna BF lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
