Martin Lindström scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Fredriksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Ekström in the 15th minute of play forced Briljant 9's goalkeeper Christian Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Algot Hedvall fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Syrianska FC's protests and gave Algot Hedvall a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, one of Syrianska FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Syrianska FC. In the 23rd minute, Per Myr ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvard Allbom was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Joakim Säv took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvard Allbom. Edvard Allbom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Lindström was the one to do the kick off. Edvard Allbom came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Briljant 9's Charles Mellin. But to his dismay, Charles Mellin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. When Briljant 9's Joakim Säv in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Syrianska FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 70th minute, Valentin Eriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 minutes, Per Myr mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Briljant 9 and the Syrianska FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Per Myr hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute of the match Ulf Lundqvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Fredriksson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Christian Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Öberg in the 80th minute of the match. If Joakim Säv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joakim Säv might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edvard Allbom. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joakim Säv ran back to his position shaking his head. Charles Mellin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Edvard Allbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Joakim Säv made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side.
