Spectators: 7289 (Terracing: 5469, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Peter Gugger started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Vilgot Björk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurre Urquijo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Arsenal Youth Academy FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Nils Örtlund hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Granström in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurre Urquijo saved Arsenal Youth Academy FC from getting behind. If Peter Gugger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alf Adelsköld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Aurre Urquijo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 played minutes Arsenal Youth Academy FC got a freekick which was hit by Sten Sjöö. Magne Pilblad charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Magne Pilblad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Arjeplog booed when Arsenal Youth Academy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magne Pilblad didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Peter Gugger dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of August Skräddare, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Gugger in the 25th minute of play forced Arjeplog's goalkeeper August Skräddare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hampus Hjälm lost his temper 28 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Arsenal Youth Academy FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! After having played for 34 minutes, Sten Sjöö managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal Youth Academy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sten Sjöö was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Arjeplog's August Skräddare got control of the ball when Magne Pilblad tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute, David Granström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute Arsenal Youth Academy FC were awarded a corner. Erling Nordström went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Arsenal Youth Academy FC's Sten Sjöö to fire away a dangerous shot which August Skräddare despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The long shot by Jens-Åke Britz in the 46th minute really tested August Skräddare's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Arjeplog's August Skräddare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Gugger in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vilgot Björk to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Arjeplog's zone, Nils Örtlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. August Skräddare came out of the goal and Nils Örtlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peter Gugger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Arjeplog's zone, Peter Gugger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. August Skräddare came out of the goal and Peter Gugger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. August Skräddare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Lingren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Gugger might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over August Skräddare. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peter Gugger ran back to his position shaking his head. When Arsenal Youth Academy FC's Peter Gugger in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arjeplog's goalie prevented a goal. If Erik Lingren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Gugger in the 72nd minute of play forced Arjeplog's goalkeeper August Skräddare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magne Pilblad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. August Skräddare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Lingren in the 85th minute of the match. In the 86thth minute of the game Peter Gugger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arjeplog's August Skräddare was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Magne Pilblad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. August Skräddare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. August Skräddare came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Arsenal Youth Academy FC's Peter Gugger. But to his dismay, Peter Gugger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. When Arsenal Youth Academy FC's Peter Gugger in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arjeplog's goalie prevented a goal. Arsenal Youth Academy FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
