He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hasslö GOIF reached it. Tibro IK's Marcus Haraldsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isak Abrahamsson in the 11th minute of play. If Kjell Johnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcus Haraldsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell Johnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Jespersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Haraldsson having to interfere. In the 21st minute Richard Jespersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Haraldsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Emil Bäckström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Haraldsson. Tibro IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emil Bäckström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Hasslö GOIF booed when Tibro IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göran Wennerquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richard Jespersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcus Haraldsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Johnsson in the 31st minute of play. If Richard Jespersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Emil Bäckström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hasslö GOIF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Isak Abrahamsson struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Marcus Haraldsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hasslö GOIF. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Bäckström in the 41st minute of play forced Tibro IK's goalkeeper Marcus Haraldsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Bäckström scored 0-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcus Haraldsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kjell Johnsson to strike the kick off in the second half. If Kjell Johnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tibro IK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Kjell Johnsson scored to the left of an out of position Marcus Haraldsson, making the score, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Tibro IK's zone, Kjell Johnsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Haraldsson came out of the goal and Kjell Johnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isak Abrahamsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Haraldsson having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Tibro IK got a freekick which was hit by Göran Wennerquist. Emil Bäckström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isak Abrahamsson struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Marcus Haraldsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hasslö GOIF. If Mattias Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrik Lenberg made a great header on Tibro IK's corner, it was just that Hasslö GOIF's Kenny Forssell managed to reach the ball for a save. If Kjell Johnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Richard Jespersson came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Hasslö GOIF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard Jespersson couldn't finish the play. Marcus Haraldsson made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Kjell Johnsson sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Hasslö GOIF booed when Tibro IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vidar Hernström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hasslö GOIF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
