Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) BK Ekkepekke's Casper Carlsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kjell Lindberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jens-Ola Sundberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens-Ola Sundberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell Lindberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kurt Brandt was extremely unlucky when he, in the 9th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jens-Ola Sundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Lindberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When Mattias Hammarbäck fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BK Ekkepekke's protests and gave Mattias Hammarbäck a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to BK Ekkepekke getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Mattias Hammarbäck hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Töllsjö IFK's Elias Björnberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Elof Åström hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Elias Björnberg shot from long distance after 18 played minutes, a shot that Jens-Ola Sundberg with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Lindberg in the 29th minute of play forced BK Ekkepekke's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Sundberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mattias Hammarbäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Rolandsson having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Töllsjö IFK's zone, Casper Carlsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georg Rolandsson came out of the goal and Casper Carlsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Kurt Brandt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens-Ola Sundberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 43rd minute, Magne Mellbad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Kvick's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Georg Rolandsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kjell Lindberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jens-Ola Sundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Brandt in the 55th minute of play. If Kurt Brandt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claes Hök hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Kjell Lindberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61stth minute of the game Casper Carlsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Töllsjö IFK's Georg Rolandsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Richard Kvick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Rolandsson having to interfere. Kjell Lindberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the game, Kjell Lindberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jens-Ola Sundberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kurt Brandt in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Ola Sundberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Töllsjö IFK's Georg Rolandsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Töllsjö IFK from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the match, BK Ekkepekke's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Lindberg came free, but Jens-Ola Sundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Brandt in the 80th minute of play forced BK Ekkepekke's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Sundberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kurt Brandt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Töllsjö IFK's Kjell Lindberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jens-Ola Sundberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Kjell Lindberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens-Ola Sundberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After a rather tough play, Töllsjö IFK's August Ekeroth got a free kick in the 94th minute. Richard Kvick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BK Ekkepekke's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
