But to his dismay, Ingvar Arvidsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for JT-Fucking-c! Lars Klementsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Haraldsson having to interfere. The supporters of Fluminense booed when JT-Fucking-c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Månsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fluminense's Jan-Åke Eriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Öfverman in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Lars Klementsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leif Haraldsson. JT-Fucking-c's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lars Klementsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After the first half Fluminense were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ingvar Arvidsson was the one to do the kick off. Leif Haraldsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Arvidsson in the 52nd minute of the match. Leif Haraldsson was a little too slow when Lars Klementsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-4. In the 63rd minute Ingvar Arvidsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Haraldsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, JT-Fucking-c's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Paulin came free, but Leif Haraldsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
