Dan Hagström succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. In the 22nd minute Dan Hagström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Ove Lindqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Åke Arenstedt in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Ove Lindqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sven-Ove Lindqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Åke Arenstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Dan Hagström succeeded in the game's 26th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. In the 28th minute, Lagan's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Simon Karlsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Lagan's Karl-Åke Arenstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Ramdala IFK getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Kent Vennerlund hit a great ball. Oscar Albom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Kvick having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Åke Arenstedt made a kick off. In the 59th minute, Lagan's Karl-Åke Arenstedt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sven-Ove Lindqvist. Sven-Ove Lindqvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. After 72nd play minutes Dan Hagström shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Sven-Ove Lindqvist and just under the crossbar into goal. Sven-Ove Lindqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Åke Arenstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lagan's goalkeeper Mats Kvick, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ramdala IFK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Lagan. Sören Holmberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sven-Ove Lindqvist. 0-6. Lagan's Karl-Åke Arenstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dan Hagström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Ove Lindqvist having to interfere. Lagan's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
