The referee ignored Gott Med Mat's protests and gave Zebastian Jonsson a yellow card for diving instead. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustav Alströmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eike Bieber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Gott Med Mat's Algot Ahlrot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustav Alströmer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ulf Häll hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gott Med Mat's Eike Bieber slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gustav Alströmer. That made the score 1-2 after 76 minutes of play. In the 79th minute, Eike Bieber left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gott Med Mat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.
