When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Kasper Nordin sped through Norrala FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ted Brovall. Kasper Nordin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ted Brovall came out and tried to block the shot, but Kasper Nordin slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 29th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josef Eriksson got free with Ted Brovall in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rune Lilleeng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dag Hamberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt-Rune Hermansson's late challenge caught a Asmundtorp FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. One of Norrala FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Asmundtorp FF:s goal. Rune Lilleeng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dag Hamberg in the 38th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Dag Hamberg made a precise shot to the right of Rune Lilleeng. Asmundtorp FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Rune Lilleeng breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute Nils-Åke Kjellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Lilleeng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Alexander Beckeman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Asmundtorp FF's Rune Lilleeng didn't even have to move. In the 83rd minute Kasper Nordin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Brovall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rune Lilleeng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dag Hamberg in the 93rd minute. Norrala FK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
