Peio Dean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Jakob Åberg made a huge save. In the 28th minute, The Kickers Club's Artur Giertych dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Jakob Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Mellberg in the 31st minute of play. When Allan Josefsson fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SS Campobasso Calcio's protests and gave Allan Josefsson a yellow card for diving instead. The long shot by Reine Viklund in the 33rd minute really tested Jakob Åberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jakob Åberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Olof Lindberg in the 34th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Olof Lindberg in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jakob Åberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, SS Campobasso Calcio's Jakob Åberg got control of the ball when Tomas Stensson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jakob Åberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Stensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
