The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Evert Jönsätt came out and tried to block the shot, but Charles Nordin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. After having played for 16 minutes, Gösta Haeger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Motståndarlaget's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gösta Haeger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Willig in the 20th minute of play forced Motståndarlaget's goalkeeper Sven Kling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Axel Willig made a precise shot to the right of Sven Kling. Motståndarlaget's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 27th minute, Arne Sjöberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Axel Willig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Kling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Robin Persson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Victory United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Motståndarlaget's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Nordin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evert Jönsätt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Motståndarlaget getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Bernard Grabowicz hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Christopher Ekblom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven Kling. Motståndarlaget's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christopher Ekblom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Charles Nordin kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Sven Kling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christopher Ekblom, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute Axel Willig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Kling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Willig made a kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Victory United FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Willig in the 59th minute of play forced Motståndarlaget's goalkeeper Sven Kling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Victory United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Nordin came free, but Evert Jönsätt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Victory United FC booed when Motståndarlaget was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Grabowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66thth minute of the game Gösta Haeger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Victory United FC's Evert Jönsätt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. But to his dismay, Gösta Haeger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. 84 minutes into the match, Motståndarlaget's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Persson came free, but Sven Kling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Christopher Ekblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Motståndarlaget's Sven Kling got control of the ball when Christopher Ekblom tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sven Kling stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Willig's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Sven Kling made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christopher Ekblom in the 92nd minute. Axel Willig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
