Spectators: 7229 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Henric Wiberg kicked off to start the match. Folke Östlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henric Wiberg in the 3rd minute of the match. Folke Östlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henric Wiberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henric Wiberg in the 8th minute of play forced Ålem's goalkeeper Folke Östlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henric Wiberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Folke Östlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Henric Wiberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Folke Östlund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 16 played minutes Wolverhampton Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Sundström. Henric Wiberg struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Folke Östlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wolverhampton Wanderers. Rickard Uter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Filiph Ros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Erik Jonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiph Ros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Waldemar Kapelski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henric Wiberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Wolverhampton Wanderers getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Thomas Sundström hit a great ball. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wolverhampton Wanderers's goalkeeper Filiph Ros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rickard Uter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Ålem's goal looked a bit too open when Henric Wiberg came free, but Folke Östlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Wolverhampton Wanderers were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erik Jonsson to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Uter in the 53rd minute of play forced Wolverhampton Wanderers's goalkeeper Filiph Ros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Erik Jonsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ålem's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Jonsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filiph Ros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute, Waldemar Kapelski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Folke Östlund was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Rickard Uter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiph Ros having to interfere. After having played for 64 minutes, Henric Wiberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wolverhampton Wanderers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henric Wiberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Uter in the 67th minute of play forced Wolverhampton Wanderers's goalkeeper Filiph Ros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Kapelski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Mattsson's late challenge caught a Wolverhampton Wanderers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentin Mattsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Valentin Mattsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ålem's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Henric Wiberg scored to the left of an out of position Folke Östlund, making the score, 0-4. Henric Wiberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Wolverhampton Wanderers's zone, Rickard Uter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiph Ros came out of the goal and Rickard Uter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rickard Uter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Wolverhampton Wanderers had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
