In the 16th match minute, Kopite Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roy Linquist to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Dan Ekberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birger Svensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fritz Ahlkvist in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, Vaxholm IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert Löfdahl to maneuver through the defense. Villiam Lagerberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Douglas Ödmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Kopite Academy's Douglas Ödmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Kopite Academy from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the match, Vaxholm IF's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Browald came free, but Birger Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gert Löfdahl's late challenge caught a Kopite Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gert Löfdahl helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Vaxholm IF got a freekick which was hit by Gert Löfdahl. Douglas Ödmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Villiam Lagerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 played minutes Vaxholm IF got a freekick which was hit by Gert Löfdahl. With his leg Douglas Ödmann managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Vaxholm IF's Eustaquio Micael fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lennart Browald made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Kopite Academy's Karl-Axel Berg got a free kick in the 57th minute. Vaxholm IF's Birger Vallander couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kopite Academy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Villiam Lagerberg in the 59th minute of play forced Kopite Academy's goalkeeper Douglas Ödmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Villiam Lagerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Douglas Ödmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Niklas Hellqvist fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vaxholm IF's protests and gave Niklas Hellqvist a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kopite Academy booed when Vaxholm IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niklas Hellqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vaxholm IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
