After some careless play in the Fingerprint Cards defense, Urban Enström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arvin Mellin. The Fingerprint Cards fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arvin Mellin should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Fingerprint Cards's Stellan Lindberg got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 12th match minute, Fingerprint Cards was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörn Mattsson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Wallengren in the 14th minute of play forced FC Rosengård's goalkeeper Alfred Örtlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fingerprint Cards's Arvin Mellin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urban Enström in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Rosengård's Jens-Åke Bäck got a free kick in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Lund in the 30th minute of play forced Fingerprint Cards's goalkeeper Arvin Mellin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stellan Lindberg hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. If Bertil Holmstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th match minute, FC Rosengård was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Lund to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Bendik Solstrand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Bendik Solstrand cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Arvin Mellin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bendik Solstrand made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, FC Rosengård's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Holmstedt came free, but Alfred Örtlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arvin Mellin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bendik Solstrand in the 60th minute of play. Arvin Mellin made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Urban Enström sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 64 minutes, Aaron Wallengren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fingerprint Cards's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Wallengren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arvin Mellin made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Urban Enström sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bendik Solstrand in the 77th minute of play forced Fingerprint Cards's goalkeeper Arvin Mellin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Fingerprint Cards's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Ryberg came free, but Arvin Mellin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens-Åke Bäck during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jens-Åke Bäck hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Urban Enström came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arvin Mellin could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bendik Solstrand in the 90th minute of play forced Fingerprint Cards's goalkeeper Arvin Mellin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bendik Solstrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvin Mellin having to interfere. In the 94th minute Bendik Solstrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvin Mellin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The FC Rosengård players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
