The crowd rose to their feet as Rune Överman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jimmy Edström. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Joar Apelquist charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joar Apelquist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Marsfjäll IFK booed when London fotball club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joar Apelquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marsfjäll IFK's Rune Överman got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 29 minutes, Emil Stabbe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the London fotball club and the Marsfjäll IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Emil Stabbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Marsfjäll IFK's Herbert Vik slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jimmy Edström. That made the score 2-0 after 30 minutes of play. Herbert Vik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Edström having to interfere. Rune Överman kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. With a little luck, London fotball club's Jimmy Edström got control of the ball when Herbert Vik tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jimmy Edström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Överman in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by London fotball club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Karl-Magnus Hellström was slow to take the kick. During this time Marsfjäll IFK's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Karl-Magnus Hellström got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jimmy Edström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 47 minutes into the game, Robin Gerdberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Felix Spetz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rune Överman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jimmy Edström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Vik, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. During the 61st minute of the match Emil Stabbe completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Emil Stabbe a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, London fotball club's Emil Stabbe got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the game, Rune Överman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jimmy Edström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75th minute Rune Överman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Edström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Marsfjäll IFK's Herbert Vik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jimmy Edström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the London fotball club defense, Rune Överman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jimmy Edström. The London fotball club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jimmy Edström should have stopped the shot. Robin Gerdberg kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Karl-Magnus Hellström, 86 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jimmy Edström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rune Överman, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 89thth minute of the game Herbert Vik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but London fotball club's Jimmy Edström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rune Överman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jimmy Edström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rdth minute of the game Rune Överman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but London fotball club's Jimmy Edström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Herbert Vik might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jimmy Edström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herbert Vik ran back to his position shaking his head. Jimmy Edström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Överman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Överman in the 99th minute of play forced London fotball club's goalkeeper Jimmy Edström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Marsfjäll IFK had played much better football throughout.
