In the 13th match minute, Hagfors Grizzlies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Billock to maneuver through the defense. If Ingvar Biörnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hagfors Grizzlies's Zacarias Piorno got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Hugo Billock cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gunnar Sundström to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC BARCELONA booed when Hagfors Grizzlies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Piorno didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC BARCELONA fully deserved thier win.
