The audience thought a goal was coming when Washington Trancoso got free with Tage Beckeman in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Money Gang's supporters crossed their fingers, but Washington Trancoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th match minute, Norrköping FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Utter to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Alf Lind hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norrköping FF succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Money Gang had controlled the match.
