An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Negri in the 16th minute of play forced Wernamo F.C's goalkeeper Tony Wenerdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magnus Smed didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentin Britz went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 34 minutes into the match, Zacarías Riba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tony Wenerdahl. Wernamo F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zacarías Riba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Humberto Negri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Wenerdahl having to interfere. Humberto Negri struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Tony Wenerdahl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vitaby. Tony Wenerdahl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Negri went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Ove Almqvist scored 1-3 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tony Wenerdahl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zacarías Riba was the one to do the kick off. After 57 minutes of play, Vitaby's Humberto Negri made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Wenerdahl was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Vitaby's Jan-Erik Sikström got a free kick in the 64th minute. Tony Wenerdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calle Örtlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Magnus Smed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Britz in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Vitaby's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Britz came free, but Magnus Smed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Negri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Krister Smed got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tony Wenerdahl came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Vitaby's Humberto Negri. But to his dismay, Humberto Negri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Wernamo F.C's Tony Wenerdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calle Örtlund in the 82nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Vitaby's Zacarías Riba slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tony Wenerdahl. That made the score 1-7 after 86 minutes of play. In the 91st minute Valentin Britz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magnus Smed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute Calle Örtlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Wenerdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Vitaby could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Wernamo F.C throughout the match.
