Humberto Suazo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. In the 7th minute Humberto Suazo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Suazo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Humberto Suazo struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Philotimo. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Suazo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Fabricio Andrade got a throw-in 12 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Viriato Moura. Wilson Amorim was a little too slow when Humberto Suazo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. Alexandro Gavilanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 19th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humberto Suazo in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Philotimo were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Portugal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ruben Meldasgoas took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Quiróz Nabarro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Alexandro Gavilanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Portugal were awarded a corner. Felipe Barreto went to the cornerflag to take it. Portugal's Rodolfo Miranda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alexandro Gavilanes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. FC Philotimo's Alexandro Gavilanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 35th minute of play. Raul Caetano made in the 36th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Daniel Pimentel immediately put the ball in play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Philotimo's goalkeeper Alexandro Gavilanes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Suazo to strike the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, FC Philotimo's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Alexandro Gavilanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Humberto Suazo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Philotimo made a substitution. Fabian Vime replaced Quiróz Nabarro. FC Philotimo's Aryakumara Snow was substituted for Humberto Suazo. With a little luck, FC Philotimo's Alexandro Gavilanes got control of the ball when Caetano Moreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of FC Philotimo booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graciano Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aryakumara Snow in the 78th minute of play. Felipinho Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Alexandro Gavilanes made a huge save. Aryakumara Snow took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Philotimo had won after a very even match.
