Björks IF's Johnny Blomkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Surdilă in the 5th minute of play. Joakim Gunnarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Adolf Lapp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johnny Blomkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolf Lapp, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Arman Biörk hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Johnny Blomkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melker Wenerdahl in the 19th minute of play. Adolf Lapp kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 24 played minutes B·K Leonardos Örnar got a freekick which was hit by Alfons Hjortsberg. In the 25th minute, Björks IF's Filiph Olofsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Evert Olofsson. Evert Olofsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some careless play in the Björks IF defense, Adolf Lapp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johnny Blomkvist. The Björks IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johnny Blomkvist should have stopped the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Björks IF's goal looked a bit too open when Melker Wenerdahl came free, but Johnny Blomkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of B·K Leonardos Örnar booed when Björks IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Alegren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute of the match Anders Jönsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johnny Blomkvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filiph Olofsson made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Melker Wenerdahl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Joakim Gunnarsson notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Björks IF's Johnny Blomkvist. Johnny Blomkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arman Biörk during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Björks IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of B·K Leonardos Örnar:s goal. Nils-Emil Bremming made a great header on B·K Leonardos Örnar's corner, it was just that Björks IF's Johnny Blomkvist managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Melker Wenerdahl took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Johnny Blomkvist to make any attempt to save it. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Joakim Gunnarsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Johnny Blomkvist. That made the score 1-5 in the 90 minute of play. Johnny Blomkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melker Wenerdahl in the 93rd minute. Adolf Lapp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Johnny Blomkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
